Flemington Presbyterian Church
Meet the Team

Pastor
Josh McKenna
Rev. Josh McKenna serves as pastor and teaching elder at Flemington Presbyterian Church and has since June 2024.
Josh grew up in Iowa, where he was raised Presbyterian. After earning a degree in business, he joined the Army. He and his newlywed wife, Joselynn, moved to Hinesville, Georgia and lived in this community for four years.
They returned to the Midwest for several years. There, Josh earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, his Master’s in Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his Master’s in Divinity from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary.
Josh has pastored throughout the Midwest but soon felt God calling him back to Coastal Georgia. Josh, Joselynn, and their three daughters can often be found at the beach or camping. They are very excited to be a part of what God is doing here at Flemington Presbyterian Church.

Music Director
Kasandra Lee
Kassandra Lee is a pianist and passionate lover of sacred music whose musical journey began in the church choir, singing and later accompanying worship services. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Piano Performance at Georgia Southern University, while also enjoying collaborative work with vocalists and participation in ensemble projects. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Cameron University and has served as an accompanist, cantor, and music director for both Catholic and Protestant congregations, including the Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Community at Fort Bragg. Her training includes professional cantor and Gregorian chant studies through the International Chant Academy.
Kassandra relocated to North Carolina with her family due to her husband’s military service, where she expanded her musical experience by teaching piano at the Fayetteville School of Music and engaging in local music events. Now based in Ludowici, Georgia, she serves the Flemington Presbyterian Church community, supporting her husband stationed at Fort Stewart with the U.S. Army, and nurturing the musical gifts of their three daughters

Youth Director
Ashley Smiley
My name is Ashley Smiley, and I have had the privilege of serving as the Children and Youth Director at Flemington Presbyterian Church for six years. With 16 years of marriage and two teenage children, I have a deep appreciation for the importance of family and community. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, caring for our animals, embarking on new adventures, and coaching cheerleading. My goal for our children and youth is to inspire them to place their trust in God's promises, guiding them to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I strive to teach them values rooted in God's word, nurturing a personal relationship with Jesus. Ultimately, I desire for all our children and youth to understand the depth of God's love for them, encouraging them in their faith and making the stories they have grown up with relevant to their lives today.
